Why Teeter Hang Ups?
Want to Train Like James Bond?
Try Inversion.
A recent article in the UK newspaper, The Telegraph, has revealed that stuntman for the new James Bond films, Steve Truglia, uses inversion as a way to improve his balance and fitness to stay in top physical condition. As a double for Daniel Craig, and as a representation of one of the most iconic heros of our time, Truglia uses several techniques to stay in top shape.
As a former Special Forces physical training instructor and one of the “top stuntmen” in Britan, Truglia says spatial awareness is key to keeping “stunt fit,” and he trains using Gravity Boots to help increase that awareness. Read more to learn how this top stuntman stays in shape.
A defined set of abs is essential for peak fitness and maximum star power. Some people tout that inverted situps are TEN TIMES more effective than a regular situp - plus no loads are placed on the back while inverted, as with regular on-the-ground sit-ups. Plus the added benefit of decompression helps keep your back healthy and combat any back pain incurred by chasing bad guys through back alleys.

Did you catch our recent Good Morning America appearance on April 25th, 2008? Technology correspondent Becky Worly rated four pieces of exercise equipment available from infomercials, handing out grades of “C-,” “B,” “A-,” and “huh?”
Can you guess which grade the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table received? That's right - Worly gave us an A-, the best grade of all the products! GMA correspondent Robin Roberts was impressed with the grade. “She does not hand out the A’s easily,” Roberts noted to the crowd. Worly reported that she liked the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table because it was “easy to use,” and “feels really good.” Her only gripe was that its "kinda spendy" however, she went on to say, "BUT I really like it!" Worly noted that it is a “sturdy piece of equipment, which is good because you're hanging upside down!” Roberts agreed, "You want it to be sturdy!"With an MSRP of $359, the inversion table had the highest price point of the products she rated, though it was by far the most highly engineered and robust. If you have any doubts as to the quality materials and product testing that goes into building a product that meets our high production standards, please take a moment to review these pages within our site:

Researchers Find Inversion Therapy to be Promising for Back Problems!
A preliminary study from Newcastle Hospital shows evidence that the regular use of an inversion table may significantly reduce the need for back surgery. Patients who were told they needed sciatic operations were divided into two groups. One group regularly practiced inversion therapy along with regular physiotherapy, while the other practiced physiotherapy alone. The results showed that patients who practiced inversion were 70.5% less likely to require surgery. Read more...

Teeter Hang Ups Outperforms Competition in Product Quality Tests

There are no government regulations to effectively control the structural integrity or reliable function of inversion tables. The
market is therefore subject to inconsistent or inferior product quality. With no way to quantify claims of safety, this term is
commonly used without support; so the question remains, what is safe? In an effort to answer this dilemma, STL International,
Inc., manufacturer of the Teeter Hang UpsŪ brand, hired an independent and nonbiased engineering firm to compare and test the seven most widely distributed
inversion tables. Click here to learn more about the results.
- UL Testing. There are no government regulations to control the structural integrity and product quality of inversion products. Make sure that your inversion option can quantify their claim of safe equipment by providing certificates or classifications to demonstrate successful voluntary testing to effective standards, like UL 60601-1.
Independent Engineering Tests. During an independent engineering study of the 7 most widely distributed inversion tables, the F5000 outperformed competitors in structural integrity and durability. Learn more about the product testing.
